KARIN LITTAU is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Literature, Film, and Theatre Studies at the University of Essex. Her work on translation and film adaptation has appeared in a number of books and journals, among them MLN, Dedalus, and TTR. She is the author of Theories of Reading.
