Gendered Aesthetics of Blackness delves deeply into the visual artistry and activism of Afro-Cuban women in Cuba and the United States. Rosita Scerbo is Assistant Professor of Afro-Latinx Studies and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Georgia State University.
