The Childhood of Religions (Barnes & Noble Digital Library) [EPUB ebook]

Ondersteuning

Written in 1883 for young readers, the author considers the advance “from lower to higher stages of religious belief.” Tackling the issue of what should be taught about the Bible in the light of scientific knowledge, the author asserts that “the great verities [of the bible] remain, ” and that new scientific information provides a clearer view of such truths.
