Author Michael Black details his familys journey through childhood cancer with their daughter Kayla. The book tells of his familys faith in God and the power of prayer. The book can provide comfort and faith to people that have families and friends in similar situations.
Over de auteur
Michael Black is retired after 29 years from the Illinois Department of Corrections. During his off time, he has worked part-time for ambulance services, served as a volunteer fireman and served as a deputy coroner in the county he currently resides. He volunteered as a 4-H leader, and ran his own photography studio for several years. His proudest moment in life though are the years he has spent as being a father to two wonderful children, Clayton now 28 and Kayla, 23. Having lived the experience in the book with his wife Karel, Mike recently felt a calling to put the journey into this book as a way of giving hope and inspiration to others.
