Numerous examples are included, obtained through IXION software developed by the author. Dr. Michel Capderou is a lecturer at the University Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC) in undergraduate astronomy courses and graduate level spatial mechanics/astrodynamics courses. He is also a researcher at the Dynamic Meteorology Laboratory (LMD) at the École Polytechnique, where he works on the preparation of satellite missions and IXION software.
