It’s been five years since Detective Vic Lenoski took early retirement to help raise his granddaughter. But the shooting of an elderly man outside a cemetery reawakens his detective instincts. But Vic’s skills are rusty, someone is leaking information to the press, and Vic soon learns those secrets are protecting much more than just stolen money.

Peter W. J. Hayes is a recovered marketing executive and author of the Silver-Falchion nominated Vic Lenoski mystery series. His short stories have won the Pennwriter’s short story award and been finalists for Derringer and Al Blanchard awards. An early novel was a finalist for the Crime Writers Association (CWA) Debut Dagger Award.
