Critical reading is valuable because it delays your judgment! The space between consuming information and coming to judgment about information is the place where thinking happens. Critical reading isn’t about leading you to the 'right’ version of things. It’s about helping you absorb what you read, understand it in a certain context, and then make a value-informed choice about whether to view that information positively, negatively, neutrally, or somewhere in between. To do that, you have to leverage your 'reading’ lenses. The more you think for yourself, the more legendary you become.
