Dr Sachin Kumar is Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC), University of Delhi (Uo D), Delhi, India. He is also an executive officer of the University of Delhi Foundation, an endowment fund section 8, not-for-profit company of Uo D. He has been awarded a Ph D degree from the Department of Computer Science, University of Delhi(Uo D) on a thesis titled “Modeling and Prediction of Building Energy Performance Using Machine Learning Approaches”. His research work has been published in the domain of intelligent information systems, urban computing and smart systems reputed international high-impact factor SCI/SCIE/Scopus journals and conferences such as Energy and Buildings (Elsevier, IF=7.6), Sustainable Cities and Societies (Elsevier, IF=10.5), Sustainable Energy, Grids and Networks (Elsevier, IF=5.6). His thesis primarily focuses on developing models for energy performance optimization through modelling and prediction of energy usage toimprove energy conservation in residential and commercial buildings in order to achieve the goal of sustainable cities and societies to contribute to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He secured several placement offers during MCA and after completion served as a software development engineer(SDE) with IHS Markit Information Mosaic, United Kingdom(UK). He is offering courses and supervising research and development in the area of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Deep Learning, Industry 4.0, Digital Transformation and Governance, Smart Cities, Urban Computing, Information Systems and Computational Social Systems. Prof. Ajit Kumar Verma is a Professor in the Faculty of Technology, Environmental and Social Sciences, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Haugesund, Norway (since 2012) and was a Professor/ Senior( HAG) scale Professor for around 15 years with the Reliability Engg/Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay with a research focus in RAMS, Risk & Safety Engineering, Computational Intelligence applications in various domains. He was awarded (2017) 'Honorary Professor’ at Amity University, India and also a Life Time Achievement award at IIT Madras by SRESA. He has supervised/co-supervised 39 Ph Ds and over 100 Masters theses( IITB; HVL, Norway; Univ.of Gåvle, Sweden; LJM Univ, UK; WMG, Warwick Univ, UK) in the area of Electronic Systems Reliability, Software Reliability, Reliable Computing, Power Systems Reliability, Reliability Centred Maintenance , Soft Computing in RAMS for Complex Engineering Systems and Probabilistic Safety/Risk Assessment in power plants and Computational Intelligence Applications in multiple domains. He has executed various research projects in India to promote industry interface and has been the course co-ordinator for industry CEPs like Reliability Engineering, Six Sigma, Software Inspections, Competency Tracking System and Software Reliability for IT industries. He is also a Guest Professor at Lulea University of Technology, Sweden and was an adjunct at the University of Stavanger. He has several publications to his credit. He was the Editor-in-Chief of OPSEARCH published by Springer (Jan 2008-Jan 2011). He is currently the Patron and Founder Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Systems Assurance Engineering and Management (IJSA) published by Springer and is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal of Life Cycle Reliability and Safety Engineering published by Springer. Dr Amna Mirza is an Academician, Author, Social Entrepreneur, and Curator of Ideas on technology and society. She is Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women, University of Delhi and former Associate Professor at Sarojini Naidu Centre for Women Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi, India. She has done Masters’s Degree in Political Science from Hindu College, University of Delhi and M.Phil & Ph D from the Dept of Political Science, University of Delhi. She has 8 books to her credit, which were well-received by academia, media and others alike. She has more than 20 research papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals & has participated in more than 100 conferences at the national and international level for paper presentations and as a resource person to deliver invited lectures, amongst others. She has patents awarded by the governments of Australia and India, supervised two Ph D candidates, pursued two research projects, and contributed towards MOOCs, among others. She has also pursued additional coursework from Harvard X, amongst others. Her research areas include Digital transformation, Industry 4.0, Foreign Affairs, Digital Society, International Political Economy, Globalization, and International Relations.
