The present campandium covers a whole range of areas like present and emerging threat perceptions in fisheries sector, research needs, both basic and applied, sustainable management of fisheries and aquaculture, institutional and governance issues in open-water fishery, impact of climate change on fisheries, impact of various forms of pollution on fish and so on. We, therefore, believe that emphasis would be given on the holistic management of aquaculture and open-water fisheries taking cognigence to various research findings on various facets of ecology, biodiversity and fisheries.
