Rev. Sue Wintz, MDiv, BCC, is board certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains and is a past president of that organization. She is the managing editor of Health Care Chaplaincy’s professional publication Plain Views, which translates knowledge and skills into effective and palliative care. Her work in teaching, research, writing, and consulting has contributed to organizations such as the Joint Commission and the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. She is a staff chaplain at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona, where she isassigned to the intensive care units of the Barrow Neurological Institute.
