About the author

Dr Ian Glover is a Principal Learning Technologist and Senior Lecturer in the Digital Learning Team at Sheffield Hallam University and leads a team providing strategic and operational support and staff development for STEM related departments at the university, in addition to leading strategic projects and policy development for the whole institution. His Ph.D. research was in collaborative online learning and web annotation and he has since worked with teachers and provided academic development around the world. He has published on a wide variety of topics related to online learning.
