Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. It must be remembered from the beginning that Caesar wrote only of what he did or of what be caused to be done himself. At least he only so wrote in the two works of his which remain to us. We are told that he produced much besides his Commentaries.
