Robert John Grasseschi holds the record as the all-time leading scorer in basketball at his high school. He was the first player out of his high school league to receive a college basketball scholarship. He was inducted into his high school Hall of Fame, and his playing number was retired. When a life altering knee injury steered him into the fashion world, he became a successful international model. In spite of his accomplishments Robert John was haunted by a deep sense of inadequacy. He left modeling and returned to his hometown to join his beloved high school coach and mentor as an assistant. Those years proved to be a time of both great triumph and deep personal loss.
