Evans worked in the home-health field for twenty years until she became disabled. She is a widowed mother of two sons and grandmother of five. She attends the Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, where she is a member of their choir and chairman of their programs committee. This is Mrs. C. Evans’s first published work.
