Her research interests are population ageing, welfare states, and economic crises. Stina Johansson is professor emerita in social work at Umea University, Sweden, and Chief Editor of Socialvetenskaplig tidskrift/Swedish Journal of Social Sciences. Her research interests are social care, social gerontology and comparative social policy.
