Niulang, a humble herding boy, and Zhinü, a celestial weaver girl, defy the boundaries between heaven and earth. Drawn together by fate, their love blossoms but their union angers the gods. The story is written using only 489 different Chinese words, most of which are in the HSK3 vocabulary. It is presented in Simplified Chinese characters and pinyin and includes an English translation and glossary of all words used.
