Dump Truck Dave and his smaller dump truck mates are always being teased by the larger dump trucks because of their size.
This all changes when a huge storm hits Barcoo mine. Dave, along with his mates, comes to the rescue and save the larger trucks from drowning.

Having brought up two boys, Mike noticed there was a lack of children’s picture books for preschoolers that featured diggers, dozers, and dump trucks. And such stories are what a lot of preschoolers are interested in.
To gain ideas for stories, Mike decided to go and work on a mine, driving a six-wheel-drive dump truck.
All the books in the Dump Truck Dave series will touch on such topics as bullying, gender equality, teamwork, and community.
