Global Air, once the pride of the American airline industry, has hit some very turbulent weather. Walter Carlin is a veteran of the airline industry. Originally selected by Pan Am for its operations management program, he was subsequently recruited by and worked for Eastern, TWA, PSA and American as a management problem-solver in their marketing areas. He and his wife reside in Del Mar, California.
