About the author

William Gibson spent four years in the U.S. Marine Corps including 13 months vacationing in Southeast Asia. After his discharge he attended Portland State University, majoring in English and literature. Bill’s paternal grandmother (Roy Warner’s Sister) died in 1976 leaving him in a box of documents, photos and magazine and newspaper articles about her brother. The first thing he saw when he opened the box of photo of President Roosevelt presenting Roy with the Aimail Flyers Medal of Honor. After reading through everything.
