Christoph Schwindt serves as a Professor of Operations Management and Director of the Industrial Engineering program at Clausthal University of Technology. He holds a Ph D degree in Operations Research and a habilitation degree in Operations Management from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. He has authored and co-authored several monographs on project scheduling, including the Springer books ‘Project Scheduling with Time Windows and Scarce Resources’ and ‘Resource Allocation in Project Management’. His research interests are in complex scheduling problems, production planning in the process industries and preventive maintenance planning.
Jürgen Zimmermann is Chair of Operations Research and Director of the Technical Management program at Clausthal University of Technology. He has received his Ph D and habilitation degree in Operations Research from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. He is member of the Program Committee for the International Conferences on Project Management and Scheduling. He has authored and co-authored several monographs on project scheduling, including the Springer book ‘Project Scheduling with Time Windows and Scarce Resources ‘.His research is focused on machine and project scheduling, personal planning and vehicle routing.
