支持

From the author of Anne of Green Gables, this is the delightful story of Jane Victoria Stuart, a young girl leading an unsatisfied life in Toronto, Ontario, where she lives with her mother, aunt, and cranky old grandma.

Jane has always believed her father to be dead, but her world is turned upside down when she discovers that he is, in fact, alive and residing on Prince Edward Island. This revelation sets Jane on a journey of self-discovery as she sets off to spend a summer with him at Lantern Hill. She finds herself in a world vastly different from the one she has known. Surrounded by the island’s natural beauty and the warmth of her father’s love, Jane experiences a happiness she never thought possible. The summer at Lantern Hill becomes a magical time of personal growth, joy, and newfound freedom.

Jane of Lantern Hill is a heartwarming tale of family, discovery, and the enduring bond between a father and daughter. Lucy Maud Montgomery’s masterful storytelling and richly drawn characters bring this enchanting story to life, making it a cherished addition to her beloved works.
