Sketch Lounge: Pareidolia Sketching will trigger creativity, build drawing confidence, and support folks who are looking to loosen up their art style. This type of activity can break through the worse creative block or be a fun afternoon activity.
Pareidolia, not just a cool word to impress your friends, it means to perceive a meaningful image or pattern where there is none, to impose a meaningful interpretation on a nebulous stimulus. Have you seen the man in the moon, animal shapes in the clouds, surrealism such as the artist Salvador Dali’s works, or the overseer of Ebihens in France?…than you have experienced and possibly mastered pareidolia already!
Sketching, also a cool word, it means to make an outline and give representation. Sketching gives creative freedom a chance
to breath. Whether you are new to art, experiencing creative block, or any stressor in-between, this experience is a small step to stimulating your brain differently; expressing a creative freedom with no rules or judgement.
