Vorsitzender der Deutschen Kautschuk Gesellschaft (DKG) und hat einen Lehrauftrag am IKV (Institut für Kunststoffverarbeitung) / der RWTH Aachen zum Thema „Kautschuktechnologie“. Er berät das Institut in Sachen der Forschung betreffs der Kautschukverarbeitung.
