Over de auteur

Prof. Dr. Martin Hilb, vormals Ordinarius für Betriebswirtschaft und Geschäftsführender Direktor des Instituts für Führung und Personalmanagement der Universität St. Gallen, leitet das International Center for Corporate Governance. Er promovierte mit einer medienwissenschaftlichen Dissertation und verfügt über weltweite Beratungserfahrung im Bereich des Board- und HR-Managements. Martin Hilb wirkt u.a. als Vize-Präsident des Universitätsrats der Universität Luzern, Präsident von Schweizer Jugend forscht, Präsident des Aufsichtsgremiums des Instituts für Wirtschaftsethik der Universität St. Gallen sowie Board-Mitglied des European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management in Brüssel und des Centre for Corporate Governance in Africa der Universität Stellenbosch / Südafrika.
Martin Hilb erhielt 2010 in den USA von der International Academy of Quality eine Goldmedaille «… for exceptional contributions to the principles and practice of quality in governance». Er ist nach dem Amerikaner Prof. Ira Millstein von Yale erst der zweite Wissenschaftler, der diese weltweite Auszeichnung entgegennehmen durfte.
