Each chapter assesses the ethical challenges, the status of evidence in explaining or describing the issue and possible solutions to the problem. Dónal O’Mathúna is Associate Professor at The Ohio State University, USA, and internationally recognized for his work on disaster bioethics, including the ethics of research in disasters and humanitarian settings.
