The Mind is the Playground!
Looking inward, from the Meta-View, we can
focus on one thing (without thought) and ascend the meditative levels to the peak (nirvana); take a wider view (with a little thought) to gain some valuable insights about ourselves (such as our sense of self); perform some mental exercises to dissolve much of the baggage we have acquired, such as negative self-image, shame, guilt, emotional triggers, unwanted cravings, and some social and existential fears; stimulate a range of pleasurable moods (from contentment to joy and euphoria) as well as heightened senses of connection, empathy, compassion, unselfconscious spontaneity-and play!
